"If you're looking to stay in Edina, the Homewood Suites is an OK value. If you're looking for 5 stars on budget pricing, you'll be disappointed. Gripes below. I'll put the good thing up front: the front desk staff were very helpful every time I sought their help. I've stayed here often since it opened in 2018 and so have seen it wear down a bit. "We always love staying in Embassy Suites but this property fell short. It was an older building and not as nice as most. The pillows were awful and our room was very noisy because it was right off of the lobby. When I called the front desk no one answered. The man at check in offered no information. It just was very disappointing I'm comparison to all of our other stays at Embassy Suites. I would not stay here again."

"The property and room were immaculate and despite the terrible heat, the hotel stayed super cool! Staff was not the most helpful or welcoming but the stay overall was lovely. Breakfast is not included which is fine. It's well located and affordable!"

"Wouldn’t be one of my top choices to book again, especially when kids are with. There are better options in Twin Cities for same price. No microwave in room (one in lobby), mini fridge very small and not effective cooling, pool seating area very close to pool, pillows sucked (not much to them), there was pee on the toilet seat when we arrived and no liners in garbage bins. Parking is free which is always a blessing."

"The outside looked decent. But the inside, oh my goodness. Where do I begin. When I got there to check-in, staff was not present. I had to pick up a courtesy phone to say I was there for check-in, then someone came out to the desk. There was nothing special about staff courtesy I was checked in and given a room key.
