All was great!!! Our only glitch were the stairs with our suitcases. The staff, however, were most helpful with this!!!

Great place. Friendly, helpful, and gracious owner and staff. Good food. Lovely location - near enough to the royal mile but without the city feel and traffic. Within walking distance of several restaurants, pubs, and shopping. Would gladly come back again.

Great B&B with good customer service

Very close to city centre ( £8 taxi), friendly staff and clean room. Our TV wasn't working unfortunately and the portion size of the breakfast was small. but clean and secure makes it a good go to choice for affordable accomodation.

Trevlig semester i Edinburgh

Det var mycket bättre än jag trodde innan. Rummen var större och innehöll allt man behövde. Fin utsikt över cricketplanen och Edinburgh slott i bakgrunden. Mycket trevlig och vänlig personal på hotellet som gjorde att man kände sig välkommen. Rummen var rena och fräscha. Som sig bör i gamla engelska hus så knarrar det när man går i trappan och golven. Det får man räkna med. Trots att vi bodde ut mot gatan så stördes vi inte av någon trafik. Lätt att ta sig in till och från centrum eftersom busshållplatsen låg mindre än 100 meter från hotellet. Snabbt och stabilt Wi-fi

Ich würde empfehlen

Gutes Hotel. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Personal. Altes Gebäude aber trotzdem sauber und gepflegt. Sehr gutes Frühstück. (in Britischen Verhältnissen natürlich). Es gibt kleine Komfort Probleme aber die liegen eher an dem Alter des Hauses. In so einem alten Gebäude ist es normal, daß die Türe und der Boden mal bißchen knarren.

Nicht noch einmal....

Das Hotel wollte uns 3 Tage vor unserem Aufenthalt umbuchen auf ein anderes Hotel. Nach Kontaktierung von Hotels.com waren dann doch 2 Zimmer für uns frei. Die Fahrt in die City dauert eine Viertelstunde mit dem Bus und man muss nicht umsteigen. Die indischen Besitzer des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und das Frühstück OK. Das Zimmer waren sehr, sehr einfach und klein und wurden nicht ordentlich gereinigt. WLAN funktioniert gut. Ich würde diese Hotel nicht noch einmal buchen.

Clean and comfortable

We had five nights there. Room clean and comfortable. Super helpful and frendly straff. Easy to take busses to all directions. We recomend staying there. Thor and family.

Our reservation was transferred to another property, so we didn't actually stay at this property. The switch was to our advantage, but we would have appreciated more notice than we were given.

Nice but,

The hotel is really a converted two unit row house. It feels like someone just converted their house into a hotel. The bathroom was tiny and the beds were uncomfortable. The mattress's were thin and there was no box spring, just a board. Breakfasts were good.

Chambre de 4 en haut avec une très belle vue sur la capitale écossaise. Literie confortable. Petits déjeuners corrects. Situation correcte non loin de Leith ou du centre d'Edinburgh. Possibilité de parking gratuit à proximité directe de l'établissement.

Great location & friendly staff

Stayed one night with two children. Breakfast was lovely and all staff were really friendly. Room was clean and tidy. Beds really comfortable. Lots of hot water. Children enjoyed baths but I must say that the shower was rubbish! Tv reception not good either but as only there one night it wasn’t too much of an issue. Great location for central Edinburgh and bus stop a minute away. Thanks for a comfortable and friendly night.

Gute Adresse für Edinburgh

das Haus liegt sehr verkehrsgünstig. Bushaltestelle fast vor der Tür, Busse im 10Minuten takt, brauchen 10 Inuten zumStadtzentrum - super. Personal sehr freundlich. Wir durften unser Gepäck stehen lassen bis zum Nachmittag, da unser Flug erst später am Abend ging. Frühstück ist nichts Besonderes, aber reichlich und vernünftige Auswahl. Am ersten tag war der Frühstücksraum voll und der Service damit leicht überfordert. Am zweiten tag war nicht so viel los und alles hat gut geklappt. Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig. Einiges ist reparaturbedürftig (Nachttischlampe kaputt, Fensterrahmen klemmen, Abfluss in der Dusche) Aber für den Preis fanden wir es völlig ok, wir wollten hier nur schlafen.

Mother & daughter trip

We stayed at Herriot Park guest house for two nights. Love the traditional English breakfast. They have basket of fresh fruits, yogurts, cereal, coffee, tea juice. Very satisfied. Close walking distance to bus, 15-20 mins walk to Royal botanical garden. Room is nice and clean. We are happy with out stayed.

Basic and good.

This is a nice guest house, about 12 minutes drive from downtown Edinburgh. Nothing fancy, but clean and easy to park at, good breakfast. About 25 minutes from the airport.
