It is far from ideal and of late, due to the Scottish heat wave, it has been a hindrance on some guests stays. This has been one of the hotels biggest challenges in all the years I have worked here as the buildings in Scotland are not equipped to the rare heatwave experienced by the country over the last month. Thank you for making us aware, and apologies that this information was incorrect in the first place.Regarding the temperature control issues you have experienced during your stay, I can appreciate the frustration about this – we are firmly aware of the shortcomings, and are working to address these at the earliest possible opportunity. We appreciate your comments about this very much, and will certainly be taking them into account. As for the television issues you have encountered, we are currently in the process of replacing televisions in many rooms throughout the entire property. However, as this is a rolling process some rooms of ours will continue to have older models that are lacking in quality and features. We have noted down your comments about the issues with the TV in your specific room, and will be prioritising it for replacement – thank you very much for letting us know.On a positive note, I was pleased to read of your compliments towards our staff.
