He was professional, understanding, and did his best to explain the situation. That being said, Expedia or Best Western seriously need to correct the room photos being advertised for the standard rooms because they are extremely misleading. "I have grown to love residence inn. Every time I have stayed there, staff has been extra friendly, it’s been clean, and I have been happy with their pricing. This location continued that trend. The front staff was full of smiles and seemed to genuinely want my stay to be great. Breakfast was good, and they had a designated spot for uber/lyft. I did not visit the pool, but it looked clean and well maintained. There was a couple of families having fun in it, and I would have used it if I had time....

"Long beach airport next door and shuttle was quick. M club attendees were great. Main issue I had is requested a late checkout for 1 pm. Left my bags at front desk in case didnt return from program by 1 and left. I returned before Noon and was told I was checked out. I just wanted to go to room and change. Instead used bathroom. Didnt appreciate that level of care."

"When we checked in, we were informed the parking was “free”. They had a sign at the check-in counter that said parking was $15/night. We inquired about it. They reassured us it was included. I just checked my credit card statement & I was charged $30!! (We stayed 2 nights). Also, only 1 wash cloth, no tissues & to top it off, we had a barking dog in the room next to us."

"Tried to check in 45 minutes early, but would have been charged $20 fee even though the place was deserted. Wasn't told about breakfast, and breakfast was terrible. Wasn't told about wifi. Teenager watching the desk on weekends took an angry fit when a guest asked for the coffee thermos to be refilled. Room wasn't cleaned at all even though we were there 3 nights. Definitely won't be back. "

"It was very centrally located, on the corner of 2 major streets. It was unique due to it being in the shape of a cylinder. The room was simple and clean Very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. We door dashed and the food was delivered directly to our room. It was a very comfortable stay I would stay there again."
