"We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna. This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa. The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm. "Immaculately designed and uniquely presented, feels like a brand new property surrounded by vineyards yet walking distance to town centre. Wonderful pool, spacious rooms with lounge area, not any old fridge but a Smeg, luxurious furnishings - feels special. Breakfast a little short on choice but still acceptable. Thoroughly recommend"

"The room had everything we needed, nice clean/modern bathroom, good bed. The dining experience was wonderful, the food was very good, breakfast and dinner. Staff was great and fun, and the owner is a pretty cool dude! The walking trail on the property, about a mile long, was very fun and weird and I loved it most of all. Great large outdoor area for lounging, reading, dining."

"My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Roncolo! The hotel is new and beautiful, everything is clean and stylish. The hotel, pool, and restaurant sit on a large area of secluded land so you feel very removed and peaceful even though you’re only a few minutes from the nearest town. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. They offer free wine tastings of their cellar and balsamic tastings. The restaurant was great, delicious tasting menu.
