"As late as 8:30pm the apartment we booked had not been cleaned from the previous guests. Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. When we called her again a little later first she wouldn’t pick up, then proceeded to yell at us. At this point we just left the apartment and checked into a different hotel. "This was an incredible home! It was absolutely beautiful! The host was very accomodative, kind, caring, and helpful! The restaurant nearby our stay was absolutely delicious, a place recommended to us by our host! The views of the property and of the countryside from inside the property are outstanding! This was an incredible stay, very historic, and has an amazing Italian culture around it! I would HIGHLY recommend this stay to anyone going near this area! "Great communication by owner up until arrival. Once issues were idetfied and arose it became sporradic and no one showed up to take care of the issues. Apartment was not cleaned for what seems like weeks prior our arrival. Really filthy. Once escalated we had to stay behind and deal with cleaning staff ourselves rather than owner. Couch/bed was broken upon arrival and never fixed. So listed three beds were never actually available."
