Essen business stay

Room was quiet. Shower good and hot. Hotel manager was great. Not far from Central Train Station. Only issue is there are no bars close and not many restaurants within a 10 minute walk but if you walked 10-15 minutes there were a fair few options

Nice hotel

This is a nice hotel at reasonable prices, situated in the citycentre. Certainly not a luxury hotel but good value for money. Very nice and attentative in the reception. I got a fairly big room with a balcony . also nice. I didn´t use the breakfast so cannot comment on that. Internet was stable and fairly fast. I can recommend this hotel to those not expecting a luxury stay.

Very nice staff. Hotel was very clean and the room well equipped . Breakfast offer could be improved. The curtains in room 25 should be replaced, the current ones do not allow the room to be darkened.

Basic but fine

The staff were very friendly. The hotel is clean, but I found it basic in terms of facilities, breakfast and decor. Cold tiled floors; bizarre electrics - lots of exposed cables and extension cables; bed far too soft; and a very basic breakfast. The staff are cool, so full marks to them. Easy walk to station and centre.

Located from 5-10 mins. walk from Essen Hbf. Very quiet and staff is helpful. Free one glass of beer or coke is available at the time of check-in. If you want to go shopping, go walk for 10 mins. and then you'll reach Limbecker Platz. There's REWE (supermarket) and you can grab some German sweets for gifts. :)

A short walk from Essen train station, the hotel is reasonable for the price. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, with good heating and air-conditioning unit, a kettle with tea and coffee, a complimentary bottle of water. My room overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel so it was nice and peaceful, facing away from the busy road. The room wasn't spotless, but it was clean enough. There were dirty water marks on the wall and the radiator in the bathroom. The mug also had dried spots of coffee from the previous person, so I had to clean this myself before using it.

It was, overall, a good bargain. However, I was disturbed by the cleaning staff 45 minutes too early, and the staff at breakfast promised to bring me coffee but apparently forgot it.

Sehr gut

Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen wir waren nur für eine Nacht hier. Parkplatz vorhanden, Frühstück sehr gut, Zimmer war sehr geräumig, ordendlich und sauber, kurze Wege in die Innenstadt.

Centralt beliggende hotel i et lidt kedeligt kvart

Praktisk beliggende tæt ved banegård og rimelig stille men et lidt kedeligt kvarter. Mit værelse var lille men pænt og rent med udmærket badeværelse og god seng. Vætelset lå ud til en parkeringsplads med skrald og gamle møbler. Receptionen er lukket efter kl 22 så efter det tidspunkt skal man låse sig ind ad en dør der tilgås via en lidt skummel sidegade.

Angenehmes Hotel in Zentrumsnähe

Ich war aufgrund eines Kongresses 5 Nächte in Essen. Sowohl Philharmonie, Zentrum als auch Messe sehr gut erreichbar. Zimmer auf gutem Standard (Boden allerdings komplett gefliest). Zimmer und Bad sauber und gerade in Richtung Innenhof auch sehr ruhig. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top. Nicht gefrühstückt - daher nicht beurteilbar.
