"booked a room for 3, didn't receive 3 towels let alone any washcloths. broken hooks, torn carpet and bugs in the room. if you like 7-11 breakfast food, this is your place."

"This place is adorable. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t get the heater to work and when we messaged the staff, as directed, we got no response. Also the walls are very thin and we couldn’t hear a tv or people talking all night."

"This is a quiet, charming, and well maintained, historic B&B, that provided a quaint New England experience. Excellent communication on the front end for check in procedures and adequate parking despite being a late arrival we're a huge plus! The breakfast was freshly prepared and quite delicious, served in a beautiful day room setting! I know the Innkeeper was busy, but it would be nice for her to spend a little time getting to know her guests and be a little less matter of fact."

"Avoid this place . I arrived after 11pm (for a $650 - 2 night stay) walked into the assigned room and found an unmade bed with dirty covers on the couch/floor (to be put back on the bed ??Gross !!) I waited in the hallway while they tried to find a clean room (no manager on site) , was told I would have to switch to a new room in the morning and to top it all off the temporary room also had dirty bedding :( They woke me up 6hrs. later to switch rooms. NO APPOLOGIES , just a wake up call...

"Unique stay in a very cool old house. I am a 6ft tall woman though and didn’t realize the ceiling height in our room would be approximately 5’11” so I did have to walk like a shrimp haha. We also had difficulty with the electric lock on the front door every single time we tried to get in. We felt as if maybe the battery was dying in it. Called the number on the app and left a voicemail when we were locked out for a while last night and never heard back, like at all. Not even today. Would...

"Charming, historic inn located a 5 minute walk to nice restaurants in downtown Rockport! Friendly manager and housekeeper! Great parking! Very clean property! Highly recommend!"

"The property is a beautifuly maintained inn with spacious, comfortable suites. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, and breakfast is delicious. The location can't be beat. Shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance, but the area around the inn is quiet. The waterfront harbor is also just a short walk away."

"Great location! Staff excellent. Great vale."
