"Its a nice enough place but it sure needs work.
Temps in the 90's with 50% humidity and AC not working, they did move us to a different room ,but wasn't any better. Dont ask for ice , cause there hasn't been any for years. Beds were decent and room was clean. So it will work in a pinch."
"Cold air conditioning was fantastic on such a hot day. The building is a little old, but well kept and it was a comfortable stay. Upon arriving you have to use a touch screen to check in. Your key gets released from a box on the wall! Pretty high tech, I thought! I was able to talk to a live person on video screen too. The first room, 102, that I was issued smelled strongly of men’s cologne, so the lady kindly gave me a diff room, with no problem, and that next room was fine. I’d definitely stay there again. Price was super reasonable at $81."
"When booking it does not state they charge $25 a day non refundable pet deposite. Even there pet policy posted on counter does not state its a DAILY fee. We where staying for 2 days so should of been $50 but was charged for 3 days so got charged $75. Was suppossed to be refunded but has not been. The rooms where very dirty. Looked like old pet poop on floor that was just picked up but never cleaned. Sheets and blankets where gross unwashed. When told staff she just threw new sheets at me for me to change the bed. Im renting a room I shouldnt have to be the one to clean and make beds to be able to sleep there. Worst hotel I have ever stayed."

What’s a holiday rental in Essex like?
Holiday rentals are private properties where you can stay for a few weeks, or just a few days, in Essex. Holiday rentals feature amenities such as laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll feel just like you're staying in your own home. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can provide a sense of seclusion away from shared hotel lifts and lobbies packed with people while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also have more space in a holiday rental than in a traditional hotel, which makes a holiday rental an attractive option for family trips.
