Our stay was absolutely perfect, the staff went above and beyond for us, the pool was breathtaking and we were surprised and delighted at every turn from the attentiveness of the wait staff to the beauty and detail of the hotel. The hotel itself is stunning and the owner clearly takes pride in making sure each guest is having a wonderful time. Our breakfast each morning had breathtaking views of Cascais and was beautifully appointed. Could not recommend...

"I was so disappointed the type of room we got The room we were given was far too small. The toilet was just one step away from the bed, and the doors would hit each other when opened. The air conditioning broke down for an entire night, and it was a real nightmare because we couldn't sleep. I strongly disagree with the way these rooms are presented, especially considering the very high price they charge."

"We had a great room overlooking the sea with an enormous comfortable bed, but thats where the good points ended. The whole experience was ruined by the staff service. We were not offered tea/coffee when we went for breakfast the first day and when we asked for some it didn't come by the time we had finished our breakfast so we left without having any !!. We also had a bad experience with the bar staff, after wanting a glass of prosecco I was given a glass of 32euro champagne. We felt we should...
