"Possibly the world’s best hotel! I almost hesitate to write this because it feels as though we’ve discovered gold in a world full of noise and sameness — a true gem I want to keep secret. But the extraordinary people behind this independent hotel deserve every bit of recognition. The hotel is stunning, with breathtaking views and a wonderful location, but what makes it exceptional is the team. Incredibly professional, yet genuinely warm, friendly and engaging. In a world of generic, impersonal...

"Best hotel anywhere."

"I cannot recommend this place more for service. Despite some issues with the power and hot water one day, the staff kept us informed and even gave us a bottle of wine to apologise. Always there to help and very friendly. The room was specious and nice and the hotel is a little gem hidden right in the centre of the town. High praise from us."

"Amazing hotel, rooms are well appointed. Amenities are great and the staff is helpful. It’s a 10 minute walk to Cascias"

"Clean room and comfortable bed, good size, and the freezer was a nice addition. The breakfast was plentiful including cooked options. The staff were helpful and offered me an early check in and a slightly later check out too. The bathroom tap had poor pressure and the shower head holder was broken. The biggest issue was though the loud noise from adjoining primary school throughout the day from early morning to late evening, which made working remotely, etc very difficult. Had I known about this...

"This location was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, and Rainha beach. The quality of the bed and linens and the attention to detail was impeccable. it was like being in a protected oasis and Marco and the staff were so sweet and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, also very helpful if you’re running up to Sintra or sightseeing. We would highly recommend!"

"The bar, room, ocean view OUTSTANDING… one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed."

"Nice hotel with convenient parking and a great pool … within walking distance to cascais"

"We loved our few days in Cascais our room was lovely and overlooked the beach. Our view would have been much better if the Ironman marquee which was getting built at the time of our stay was not right in front of the hotel and our room. Had we known this we probably would not have booked this hotel. We loved the beach towels and basket available to take to the beach. Breakfast was just OK - wish there was more choice."

"Room was lovely very clean, cleaners in everyday, balcony & little kitchenette. Staff wonderful very helpful, lovely breakfast everything you needed hot food, cold meats, fruit & cereal. Hotel in itself was lovely. & spotless will recommend to family & friends who may wish to holiday in Portugal and we would like to return sometime 🙂"

"Good value accommodation. Well located near rail station and town centre. Hotel is clean, comfortable and staff are helpful. Breakfast is acceptable rather than memorable. Hotel has been extensively modernised generally to a high standard. Minor problems like the absence of shelves or hooks in bathroom could easily be remedied. Best cost to value ratio I've come across in Cascais."

"The location is very convenient and all round a lovely area but the accommodation was just plain lacking. The bed was hard and dense with only one sliver of pillow, 'breakfast-included' literally just means cold stuck together scrambled eggs and toast that isn't enough for all being accommodated (to the point that they should've left it out entirely). To make matters worse, they are quite literally always trying to make money off of you your entire stay without fail, and i quite literally never...

"Renovated character house, great location. Clean and good breakfast. Penthouse/top floor rooms have a beautiful view of the ocean (walking distance) We rented the "penthouse". It actually is the top floor of the house, with three independant rooms where the hallway has a door that on closing gives privacy to the three rooms in that floor. In actuality it works as adjoining rooms in an hotel. So unless planning to use three rooms you are better off getting individual rooms Specially since no...

"Lots of small insects all over the room. The room was clean other than that."

"Good"

"**Title: Great Location, but the Hotel Definitely Needs Updating** My experience at Cascais Hotel was just okay. While the hotel has a convenient location, the overall accommodations leave a lot to be desired. The rooms are outdated and could definitely benefit from some renovations and modernization. The furnishings and overall appearance feel tired, making the hotel less comfortable and inviting than I had hoped. One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the location. The hotel is...
