"Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. "

"What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!"

Unfortunately, this luxury hotel gave away our room even after I had called to confirm that we would be one day late due to airplane issues and we understood that we may have to pay for that night. When we arrived on St. John and went to the desk, we were told that we had been a no-show and they gave away our room. Luckily there was one studio left, but we had paid for a two bedroom. "Great place to stay. Conveniently located near the beach and red hook. There is always a taxi available quickly to take you anywhere if you don’t want to make the walk. "

"Clean room, attentive staff. The only thing i frowned upon was the breakfast food because everything, from the eggs to the bacon to the waffles tasted like fish.
