"Lovely front desk man. Very quick check in. Room very clean, spacious. Nice hot shower. Very comfy bed. Had fridge and microwave but no coffee maker ? Also only one bedside lamp - we both read so would have been nice to have two. TV was buffering the whole time. Maybe a one off? Not a big deal for us but if frequent could upset some.
Badic continental breakfast in super clean and quaint sitting area. Maybe add a few more grounds to coffee ? A little on the weak side. (?Do you see a theme here with the coffee ,,,lol)
Overall, good price and we will definitely stay again and recommend! "
"This was a basic motel that suited our needs just fine. I stayed here with my husband and two teenage children. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the motel. Overall, we didn't really have complaints, but I do want to point out a few things that we noticed that could be bothersome to other people.
It seemed a little loud. Our room was next to a set of stairs and we could hear people thumping up and down them throughout our stay. We had a difficult time figuring out how to use the TV, but our family is technology impaired, so that was probably just an "us" problem. The rooms are small and some of the furnishings are outdated, but it is obvious that they work hard to keep everything clean and looking nice. The breakfast room is tiny and provides very few options. We each just grabbed a banana or an apple to take with us.
I have never stayed in a Budget Motel before, and I assume that many of these things contribute to the lower cost of the rooms. If you don't care about the bells and whistles, but do value a clean place to stay, this motel would be a great choice. We would consider staying here again if we ever end up in the area."
