"The Miraggio is a large, modern hotel with impressive facilities and its own small beach. When we arrived (quite late at night), the first that struck us was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. We were led to our rooms quickly, but unfortunately discovered that the door to one of the rooms didn’t lock properly. This was dealt with very quickly by a handyman on site. "The property is located on a nice beach and has beautiful views. However that is where the goodness ends. The rooms are tiny and way overpriced. The food including breakfast is limited and all the food is cold. The front desk staff was nice but never checked in on how we are doing and wanted to charge for everything including a bottle of water in room even though rooms were $500 a day. The wait staff in bar and restaurant were rude and made you feel as though you were burdening them. Twice...
