I spoke with The Controller at the Holiday Inn: Susan Kornacki about my experience there and she would refund my stay through Expedia if I put in the complaint. I had no hot water for my shower and the water in the sink trickled out t wash my face and brush my teeth. At 4:30 am on Friday January 24, 2020 as I walked out to the parking lot with my hands full there was not one light anywhere in the parking lot so that I could be safe.

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast bar was great. The only things I didn’t like was that the shower did not have as much pressure as I would like, and the elevators don’t always work properly.

Dirty bathrooms

The room we stayed in had a dirty bathroom. The faucet in the tub had rusted and mold around it. The tiles had mold. The ceiling had water stains.

This is an older property, the plumbing needs to be replaced or updated. No water pressure at 8am. The mattress need updating . However, the Customer Services were truly helpful and outstanding.

Not great

This is a pretty run down place. The bathroom and bedding could use a real update and all rooms should include a fridge and micro. The staff seem to be friendly and work hard, but I do not think they are truly trained in hospitality. The breakfast is very basic. If you are looking for just a simple bagel or toast, they don't have it. Also, the parking lot is not well lit or safe.

Okay for one night

This place is always sub-par. While the entire property could use updating, basic comfort items are lacking. Rooms have no micro/fridge. I had to ask for a fridge twice before getting one. There is no ability to control the room temp, only the ability to increase or reduce the fan speed. Interior rooms are very dark. Room service was quick and the staff are friendly in general but not very in tune with people who are traveling for more than a night need.

The shower rod was ripped the tile from the wall. It was bent towards the floor aself. The elevator smelled that someone urinated in it 12 years ago and was never cleaned. Not worth the money I paid. However the individual at the front desk was stellar and one of the nicest humans I have ever met.

The room was clean and honestly that is priceless to me. The decor is quit dated it definitely could use a remodel. front desk staff was very very nice. However one of the housekeepers just barley missed hitting my husband with his cart. The walls are paper thin we heard everything being said in the room next to us the first night. The second night someone was playing music very loudly. The room doors slam shut which made for a great alarm at six o'clock in the morning. honestly none of which would keep me from staying again in the future if need. Cause the rooms were clean!!!!!

I stayed at this hotel about a year ago and returned recently. I was disappointed to see that the quality of the hotel has gone down. The bathtub had black mold growing in the grout. There where no curtains in the room, only sheers. The room windows faced the lobby where the indoor pool is located. Guests in the pool and lobby could clearly see into our room so we had to dress in the bathroom. It was extremely bright and hard to sleep because of the lights shining in from the lobby. There where no roll away beds available so we requested extra blankets for the floor. We waited 45 minutes for them to bring the blankets before going back down to the front desk to ask again. The second night they ran out of towels and wash clothes. We had to use a floor towel to dry off and hand towels to wash. The desk chair in our room was broken and there was a tear in the curtains that had tape put on it. The jets on the hot tub were broken. Our room door(#205) was smudged and dirty with hand prints. The hallway carpets where stained throughout the hotel as well. It was sad to see a nice facility being poorly maintained. The only positive experience was the breakfast buffet. It was decent and the waitresses where very nice and sweet (unlike the front desk clerks who never asked how our stay was).

Why

I voiced my opinion she acted like she did not want to hear it one issue I had was they had one washer and one dryer they had a large baseball tournament and several other things going on I understand the pool did not look clean so I opted out the closet door was all jacked up walking in it looked ok the room door looked like they forgot to shut the door after cleaning kinda scary when entering room smell of mans cologne which was fine but after returning a funny smell can’t explain this I forgot to mention the air conditioner I turned on got to cold but tried to turn on heat I was freezing ended up just turning it off would I stay there again maybe if these were fixed was very thankful for hotel.com finding me a room after mine got canceled due to issues beyond my control the ladies in the lounge bar were however awesome felt at home very attentive to my needs .
