"So imagine you’re running the Boston Marathon. You pick up your number at the convention center and head to your accommodation. When you get there, you find that your host, one of these property management companies called Evonify Stays, has never heard of you.
Since you made the booking on Hotels.com, Evonify refers you back to them.
Now, try getting anything other than an AI bot to communicate with you at Hotel.com. Apparently impossible in this instance at least.

"This Inn is very well kept up, comfortable and clean. The room was a bit small but worked perfect for us. They have filtered water, ice and cups along with kcup machines with coffee and tea on each floor. The only things lacking at these stations was fixings for the coffee. The room was immaculate except housekeeping missed a trash can when getting our room ready. There was a yogurt cup in the can upon our arrival. I would have liked a few more towels but I know I could have requested extras....

They weren’t thrilled with the breakfast options, as they are used to more of a continental buffet style, but it met our needs for our first day and we found the Friendly Toast nearby, which was a fun retro breakfast-brunch place.
