"This little motel was THE PERFECT stay while I was in St. Ignace for 4 days. I love the vintage-feel of the motel and the newly-updated rooms! Bed was super comfortable and so was the recliner in the room. Room was super clean and had everything I needed. When I come back to St. Ignace, I will always stay at The Cedars!!!!!!! I recommend this super nice motel to everyone!!! 🌟🌟🌟"

"Erick at the front desk was very helpful. Super convenient location to the ferry to Mackinac island. Washers and dryers available for our laundry and I’ve machines to fill coolers. They allowed us to leave our vehicle there for our overnight visit to the island which was VERY helpful. You can walk to many things from the hotel. Would recommend as a budget friendly option."

"It was early in the season when we visited this year. It was super quiet, the breakfast is always a great perk of staying here, the location is perfect and the large front porch area is my favorite part of the Inn on Mackinac!! Hearing the clopping of the horses and being just outside of the busiest part of Main Street makes the town feel even more special! Our room also had a great view of Main Strret and we were even high enough to see the harbor! It was a Great visit!"

"The staff was helpful and friendly. Porch was inviting and well-situated. Tea & coffee facilities were most appreciated. Installing an elevator is a must especially for physically-challenged guests. Providing non-sugary cold cereal eg granola as well as plain Greek yoghurt would be preferable. Adding brown bread options for toast would help. The shared bathrooms were ok, but at least offering some rooms with sink and en suite bathrooms would upgrade the experience."
