"The history and story of restoration were interesting. Most striking were the helpful and personalized communications from the manager and staff. The price paid through Xpedia was reasonable, I would not use the phone number advertised for reservations as it appeared routed to a call center and was a significantly higher price than online booking price. It’s an old building but that is much of the charm and authenticity of this unique venue. The staff appear to take security and hospitality seriously; the modern plumbing and access to a small refrigerator was appreciated. I visited the pool area but did not swim; it appears clean and attractive."
"NO ELEVATORS!!!.. Other than that it is always convenient being its the only hotel in town. Room are clean. Tub step down is really high up. A/C wasnt very cool either. We did the suite and the room very spacious. Of course ill be back. "
