This is one of the busiest attractions in Canada’s Rocky Mountains, which is a highway pullover with a view of the country’s largest cement plant on the banks of Lac des Arcs. Just behind that, a strip mine wearing down Grotto Mountain. The EcoDome, in the middle of the photo, is 35m tall and 100m diameter, can be seen from the TransCanada Highway, houses materials used in the process of producing cement and reduces the spread of dust. #OnTheRoad

Hotel was clean, very nice hot pool. Only 2 real negatives, first and most important was the toilet was so close to the counter top (about 2 inches) that I could barely get onto it and it was so crowded that I literally could hardly function. No room at all to lean to do the paperwork if you know ...

Room was clean, great hot pools, and enjoyed having a cafe right in the area. We enjoyed the Rocky Mountain Co soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms.
