"It is a fairly well maintained inn, quiet, with an appropriate continental breakfast. Good coffee. There is a lovely diner seconds away within the same compound that serves an excellent breakfast"

"Easy and friendly check-in. I believe the owner was always available should he be needed. Had a 2 queen bed room. Quite spacious, good sized fridge and of course coffee maker, microwave etc. Nice Neutrogena soaps provided, and shower water pressure was very good! Everything was really clean...the floor however needed attention. Probably needing to change out mop water more frequently. It was not bad enough to bring up while we were there, but did mention it after. I have no doubt it's been...

"Lovely rooms and decor. Very thoughfu touches, including water in the rooms and snacks. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety. The host was so accomodating. "

"The staff at front desk were rude! I have been trying to get in touch with a supervisor from this property for over a week now! I paid the full bill for the stay in Expedia and Fairfield Auburn charged me AGAIN for the room and is now refusing to refund my money. On top of all of that, Expedia is refusing to assist. I will NEVER use Expedia and and I will NEVER stay at another Fairfield Inn. Your customer service is pathetic."

"The blinds did not work in our room and there were stains on the lamp. We also had a weight for coffee because there was none left. Poor quality coffee. For the amount of money we paid the hotel did not match. Pool out of order as well"

"The hotel is obviously a low cost hotel, but it is in dire need of updating. Hallway carpets were pretty gross looking and the room didn’t even have a closet (it had a door for a closet, but only a pipe inside the door with nothing to hang clothes on). Lights would flicker and come on slowly when you’d turn the switch on. The AC worked but not very well. But it’s quiet and cheap, sufficed for a quick overnight stay for a wedding."

"Very good stay, excellent clean room, very good breakfast, really nice lobby/breakfast room and halls. Very quiet. The desk needs to be manned more consistently. Each time I went to the desk, it took a few minutes for someone in the back room to notice I was there - they were otherwise very helpful."

"This place is nothing like the pictures, barley put together. Mold everywhere. And walls and floors are covered in stains. The pool you can’t even use it’s disgusting and filled with garbage and surrounded by nasty bed mattresses. The online perspective is nothing like in person."

"Clean, still trying to find my perfect room there, close to the elevator is on the noisy side. And being from the West coast, 11 am check out is 8 am to me, that sucks when you are on vacation! They graciously gave me a later checkout (noon/9) it's an old place, I love it there, but it has it's problems, lost heat and hot water last stay in April, they are still running on a back up boiler, I expect they will be shutting down for repairs soon. Also found out that the property is for sale"

"Don't miss this lodge hidden in the green hillside near Sturbridge. Nice quiet location, and a neat 2nd storey veranda in Bldg 2 one can access from the upper lot to slow and and chill out. Very reasonable, and fairly priced Thank you."
