"A fantastic Fairbanks experience! The cabin was perfect with all the supplies needed. It averaged 20 below zero during our stay and a fire everynight made it cozy. Cabin HVAC kept all parts warm. Our host Carl reached out before we arrived and during our stay to make sure we had everything needed and make sure no problems. Our only request was for a plug for the car engine heater. There is a plug next to the cabin entrance and Carl supplied a extension card. Location is just outside Fairbanks...

"Although close to town, this could be a bad spot without at least an all wheel drive. Even though uphill from the river, there were flood warnings for the neighborhood and some of the area coming in had water a foot deep. The weather alerts said it could get deeper which was kind of unnerving. The internet and in turn the tv service was very spotty although this was a big deal for us but streaming was difficult and would cut off.
