"Mary cooked a delicious full English Breakfast for us. She was very accomadating and welcoming. We arrived at 8am, 8 hours before check in time and she held our luggage for us while we went to explore. Bathgate is a cute town and there are plenty of restaurants and shops walking distance from The Gables. The train station is an easy walk. We took the train into downtown Edinburgh. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, water nice and hot, and Wi-Fi is included. Mary provided bottled water, tea...

"We really enjoyed our stay with Alan and Alison (and Mr Tom). The room was the perfect size for us, with a modern bathroom, plenty of closet space, and a comfy bed. The breakfast options worked well for us, with Alan cooking breakfast items as requested. Several buses stop almost at the front door of the property; it was straightforward to get almost anywhere in the city. There were several restaurants and grocery stores a 10-15 walk from the B&B (also accessible by bus). We’d happily stay there...
