"Started at the entrance. Guy at front doors saying the f-word many, many times loudly. Dirt in corner, dirty carpet, no hot water, Could not adjust fridge temp(too warm)and very noisy. One very inflated price online and much better price at the desk. The whole first floor being renovated. No fun at the price we paid."

"The hotel looks like it need to be cleaned upon walking in. The staff at the desk was loud and talking using slang. The elevator had a strange and funky smell. My 1st room was ok however it was dusty and moldy. The 2nd room the toliet wasn't cleaned. I woke up to a leaky ceiling and water all over the floor in the bathroom water getting in my hair on my clothes. I was upset. I have trying to rest the manager for 2 weeks without any help"

"I forgot my slippers so use bath mat to walk on floor. The room was spotless clean. Bed was comfortable. Its old style property but well maintained . My only issue was a chair just looked worn. Faded to the point I didn't want to sit in it. TV table were old school but that was fine.. caught a fair price for a very clean room."

"The check-in staff lady was helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The parking was convenient, well lit. Our room was dreadful. There was a horrible smell, so terribly bad that we had to open the window for ventilation. The smell was what seemed to be animal urine. We were hesitant to stay in the room, over night, but had no other choice as we were in town for ECU graduation. "Everyone and everything were good"

"We had a great stay overall. The room was clean, and the staff were very kind. The gentleman at the check-in counter was especially professional and welcoming. The only small issue was that one of the extra sheets for the couch bed had a stain on it. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. We’ve had a few not-so-great experiences during past visits, but this time definitely restored our trust. We’re really glad we gave this hotel another chance, and we’ll be happy to stay again. Thank you!"
