"We were very happy staying here. From the welcoming we received, to the time we left two days later, we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay again if we ever make it back that way. The bed was really comfortable, the internet fast, the coffee great, the fridge/freezer worked fantastic and the extra little touches made it a happy stay. Being just right out of town, yet back from the road just enough to feel peaceful and secluded, we swung on the porch swing in the evenings and watched the cars go by, the birds and the squirrels play and just relaxed. It’s a beautiful property and we were so glad we chose to stay here. The layout was not a problem for us as some people mentioned, and the bathroom area was big enough to keep our suitcases in and out of the way, so there was plenty of room. There is a hanging rod for your clothes and a strong fan in case you get warm. We loved it! "
"The fire alarm went off @ 1:30AM. There was no communication from management & some of the guests on my floor discovered there actually was a fire in a trash can in the outside smoking area ( which left a dark suite mark on the building and melted a 5-6 ft section of the soffit.
The fire truck was not called and there was now communication from management about remunerating guests (e.g. by a discount on a night's stay in the future, etc) It was scary and quite disappointing."
"Bed was comfortable, fridge and A/C worked. Those were the only positives. Shower drain clogged immediately, large trash cans placed in front of rooms were overflowing, microwave door wouldn't open, lamps kept flickering, you could see daylight thru the entry door and crooked door frame and adjacent rooms throwing parties. I wouldn't recommend this place."
"The room was barely clean. Old everything. No soap in room, woman at check in said there was none available. Breakfast barely there. Stale breads. DO NOT STAY HERE!!"
"A\C was not working in room. Had to move to another room and it smelled like dirty, wet socks. I was told by staff members they have a new cleaning crew. The towels in one of the bathrooms were all dirty. The pool surface had paint chipping off, but it was still fun. Bathroom had hair in the sink and we also found a long piece of hair in the eggs. The breakfast was okay, very tasty. Especially the biscuits and gravy. Over all the front desk attendants were Great!"
"It was an excellent place to stay. The home was so comfortable, clean and relaxing. The owner thought of everything to make my stay a pleasant one. The backyard is private with a hot tub and fire pit. Each of the bedrooms has its own television. The living room was very comfortable and the office was a great touch. "
