"Loved the property, we stayed in the chalet. Facilities are excellent & the buffet breakfast provided was more than ample. Located in a quiet area but very convenient for town centre, a nice walk along the canal takes you into town. Had a very friendly welcome from James who explained how everything worked. Definitely stay again if we need accommodation in Romsey."

"A large, historic house right at the edge of the centre of Winchester. Parking adjacent to the house. Five minute walk to High St. Quirky furniture and collected antiques make this more interesting than the average B&B. Dotty & Nick are excellent hosts, friendly and communicative. Great breakfasts!"

"Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. "I had a wonderful stay at The Cottages. Absolutely lovely welcome from my hosts, which was perfect as I needed some directions and advice for getting around. It was a super comfy bed. I got 12 hours of sleep (after a long haul flight from Australia). Lovely little ensuite, WiFi, TV, tea/coffee with kettle. Recommended for anyone that needs a little bolt-hole in beautiful Chichester."

"Really lovely and friendly staff - Room was good value. Good breakfast - Would definitely stay there again."

"Hotel was very close to the sea short distance to southampton cruise ships We enjoyed the food in the bar"

"We really enjoyed our night here. The owners and their staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend."

"Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - food and amenities were really good"

"This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area."

"It was everything we expected and more. Wonderful time in Romsey."
