Holiday Inn Express Fayetteville- Univ of AR Area by IHG
8/10 Good
"This was a good hotel in a good neighborhood. There was a lot to choose from for breakfast & it was really good for a hotel breakfast. Their laundry machines accepted credit/debit cards which was really handy when I had to wash my son's baseball uniform.
The only issues we had was the air conditioner unit in our suite was really loud. Even when turned off, it stayed on for a while before it finally shut off. There also was only one accessible plug-in in the bedroom. The living room had plenty of plug-ins, but some of them were painted over. There lighting in the bedroom was not very good either. They are renovating the hotel so maybe they will fix those issues.
All in all, it was a good stay! I have had much worse stays!"
"Exceptional and unique property. Great amenities and upscale boutique vibe (and surprisingly affordable). Nestled in nature and very short walk to University of Arkansas. Very happy I booked this and I would return in a heartbeat."
"The hotel is in great condition, well taken care of, quiet and the staff was great. There are various choices for fast food nearby if you like that. The room was quiet and very clean. Liked it a lot!"
"Great location and nice hotel. The room was dusty (the counters hadn’t been wiped down in who know how long) but everything else was clean and fine. The usual breakfast options, indoor pool, no hot tub. Gazebo and covered patio area outside. We’ll be back!"
"We had to change rooms because our first room smelled like vomit and the AC unit wasn’t working correctly. Also the outlet at the desk didn’t work. I plugged in my phone at bedtime to wake up to it dead. The second night was a different room. Same issue with the outlet at the desk. Also woke up the next day to a dead phone. Several Rooms had dogs that barked all night long keeping us up. It was awful. The breakfast was disappointing with no fresh foods, everything was packaged and processed. I will never stay at this location again and will really consider whether I’d stay at a La Quinta location again."
