This is, hands down, one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed…period. The attention to detail in both the presentation and decoration of Riad Le Calife is beyond 5 star reviews. What Yasmine & Alex have created is an incredible oasis of comfort and serenity. It oozes tons of charm and sophistication at every turn. The rooftop views are incredible. The courtyard is beautiful. The bar was so cinematic that it felt like The Continental in a John Wick movie. The dining room views overlooking the Medina are stunning. The staff is amazing: Mohammed. Saida. Fatima. Said. They went above and beyond in order to create an incredibly welcoming environment from the moment we stepped out of our taxi and walked into the courtyard. They made us feel at home immediately. I can’t say enough about how absolutely wonderful our experience was staying here. It was hard to leave. Big thanks again to Yasmine and Alex!

An intimate luxury riyad in Fes
There is a zylion of ryid in Fes, and the choice was difficult. I picked road le Calife on a guess. I was so right, the place is beautiful, clean, quiet, charming, romantic. The service is implacabile. We stay in the Diamond suite, spacious, well equipped, amazing bed and bathroom. The staff is truly taking care of you. We stay first night for diner Friday is couscous, and a real excelent one. The gray win was good too. Breakfast is nice with a view from the roof top. Finally Alex the owner knows Fes by heart, and can give you all the good addresses or book a guided tour. We will be back, that's for sure. And look on the website or call Alex for a discounted rate compared to major platforms

Amazing! This was a truly outstanding experience. We have travelled a lot in Morocco and around the world and this boutique Riad was definitely up there with the very best! A special ‘Thank you!!’ to Yasmine for being so helpful with offering to help sort out our car hire problem, removing the stress and taking the weight off our shoulders and thus enabling us to relax and really appreciate our wonderful stay at Le Calife. Apart from being an exquisite Riad, the staff were delightful and the attention to detail was exceptional. To top it all, a beautifully presented breakfast in sumptuous surroundings was arranged for us for a very early departure at 5am on our last morning. We simply cannot fault it!

Excellent riad!
An incredible riad - don’t hesitate in booking your stay here. Alex and jasmine are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond. It’s made my future stays in Marrakesh difficult - the standard is now so high! From the room to the rooftop terrace, everything is wonderful. Breakfast is excellent and I’d encourage anyone to have dinner there one night. Do take into consideration the riad is around 20 min walk to the main dining options. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Alex & Jasmine are wonderful, they set us up with a fantastic guide for our first full day in Fez. Had their lovely staff escort us to help get our Petite Taxis, scheduled an unbelievable Hammam/Massage experience as well as a wonderful dinner for two on their rooftop terrace in house restaurant. Can not recommend Riad le Calife highly enough 11/10 Stars!!!

Excellent property for a stay in the old medina. Staff and service was all excellent as well. We enjoyed the breakfast upstairs. Room was very clean and convenient in all respects.

Il s'agit d'un riad magnifiquement décoré, très confortable, au charme fou et idéalement placé pour visiter la ville. Le lieu bénéficie de la proximité des taxis et de plusieurs restaurants. Ce descriptif serait incomplet sans évoquer la gentillesse et la disponibilité des propriétaires et de leur équipe. My husband and are still raving about our time at Riad Le Calife. We don't have enough words to describe how wonderful our experience was. The guest house is beautifully decorated with little vignettes set up everywhere you look. The styling is beautiful. I kept taking pictures to show my interior designer as I knew she would love everything about it and it would just make her happy to see. The location was also perfect. We loved being in the old medina, but loved that we were tucked away from fray. Then there is the unbelievable hospitality of Alex and Yasmine. They take you in and take care of everything. Their joy of life, hosting, and sharing the love of their city is infectious. We found ourselves just wanting to be in their presence. We had them plan our various tours, and were thrilled with the results. They took care of everything. They have trained their staff to take care of every detail and anticipate your every need. The food is also amazing. We ate so well. When the end of our time in Fes came we weren't ready to leave. We will definitely be back and can't recommend it highly enough

When you enter Riad Le Calife in Fes, Morocco, you enter the tales of 'One Thousand and One Nights'. The beauty, and mystery of the place are overwhelming. Each room is taken from a fairy tale, the hosting couple who created the place are generous in their welcoming and help, the staff are warm and helpful, the restaurant to remember. We recommend it whole heartedly and cannot wait to return!!

Wonderful Riad de Calife
Beautiful Riad in the middle of the Medina in Fes. Wonderful hosts Alex and Jasmine who could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Room was beautiful, very clean. Food excellent. We had an evening meal on the terrace specially prepared by their staff which was top quality. Would definitely go back.

BEST hotel .....a must stay location
Well what can I say. This is an amazing little boutique hotel. Friendly staff that really cant do enough to make your stay wonderful. The first night dinner is a must..... The rooms are fantastic clean comfortable and well stocked. When you return from a busy day in the Soukes or from an excursion you feel like you are coming home. Well placed in the old city for walking trips A must stay if visiting Fez

Such A Wonderful Riad!
We decided to make a quick stop in Fez during our visit to Morocco. After staying at this Riad - I wish we’d spent our entire trip here!! The Riad is simply incredible. It’s chic and meticulously maintained. The attention to detail is next to none. It was an oasis we never wanted to leave! We had a super early morning flight which required us to leave by 3:30a - the staff was so wonderful and so accommodating. Thank you to Alex, Yasmine, Meryeme and the entire team for making our stay perfect. We will be back!!

This is an oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the old Médina in Fes. Hosts Alex and Yasmine are simply fabulous and their staff are simply delightful. The character and charm and the excellent taste makes the stay. The in-house chef is fantastic. The best food we had in Morocco. You must stay here. I loved every minute and was sad to leave!

初めは場所が分かりづらいけど、それも旅行の醍醐味と思えばとても楽しめます！リヤド自体はとても綺麗ですんごいかわいい‼︎ スタッフさんたちの対応もめちゃくちゃいいです！ただ、部屋の中の電気が少なく夜は暗くなるので置くタイプのライトとかあると便利かも！！1枚目がリヤドのフロントなのかな？みたいな場所で、2〜4枚目は今回泊まった部屋です！！

Desde la llegada quedamos impresionados, el lugar es absolutamente maravilloso, el recibimiento, la profesionalidad, la simpatía, la empatía y el trato SUPER personalizado. Yasmine, Alex y todo su staff te harán sentirte como en casa cada día. Nos hospedamos en la Suite Emeraude. No le faltaba un detalle, fruta de bienvenida, unos dulces caseros hechos por Fátima, la cocinera del riad,...en resumen, preciosa y la cama muuuy cómoda! Muy silenciosa también. El desayuno en la terraza cubierta con vistas increíbles de Fez. También cenamos un día y Fátima cocinó un Pollo Trid, un plato típico de la región, exquisito y muy generoso. Alex, Yasmine y todo el personal están constantemente pendiente de sus huépedes para que no les falte nada y para ofrecerles todas las reseñas o servicios que nunca podrás imaginar, restaurantes, hammams excursiones,...todo tipo de recomendaciones, siempre con simpatía y teniendo en cuenta tus gustos. Cogimos 2 excursiones, una de Fez, que hicimos con Rachid y fue increíble y otra de Meknes y Volubilis también con un conductor encantador. En definitiva, hay formas diferentes de hacer turismo y sentirte como en familia...después de conocer Le Calife no querréis volver a casa nunca!! No os lo perdáis, os acordareis toda la vida! Gracias de nuevo!!

Our favourite spot in Morocco!
Riad Le Calife was incredible! We spent two weeks in Morocco- 5 riads, one desert tent and a hotel - and Riad Le Calife was by far our favourite! Everything was spot on - the ambiance is great, Yasmine and Meryeme are fabulous and soooooo helpful, the food is great and the decor is beautiful! Couldn’t recommend it more highly! I’d go back to Fes just to spend time there! A haven in the hectic city!

the perfect oasis in Fes
What a little gem in the middle of Fes! It's my first time traveling to North Africa and to a Muslim predominant country, it was definitely an eye opening experience. location - right in the heart of media and easily accessible by taxi from taxi aiport. The riad arranged airport transport at a very reasonable price, and the staff was waiting for us to help with the luggage when we arrive. room - the room is very spacious and well appointed. It was better than the pictures on line, beautifully decorated with all the intricate Moroccan details. The bathroom is large, with separate shower and toilet, and a large bathtub. Super clean and comfortable, and well stock with all the amenities (slippers, bathrobe) that one need during vacation. The riad itself is beautiful and tastefully decorated with all the antiquities the owner collected over the years. Service - the service is impeccable. The riad owners Yasmin and Alex take such excellent care of the guests and make sure you have the best time in Fes. They help you with the itinerary and restaurant recommendations, walk through the map, and paid great attention to every detail of the stay. There are only 7 rooms in the riad, so you really feel that the service is very personal. From the welcome mint tea on arrival, to the cookies in the room baked by the riad's chef, I felt very pampered by all the staff. Value - great value, breakfast included, and much more comfortable than hotels.

An Absolutely Perfect Place to Stay
The warmth, welcome, assistance and service of the owners — indeed ALL staff — is over-the-top. The location — a two minute walk inside the Médina — yet utterly removed from the chaos and bustle of the crowds, offers a perfect location for both experiencing the Medina or exiting to sightsee outside. The quality of the guides the owners procured were top-rate. Breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious. My wife and I have travelled for 40 years and this is one of our all-time favorites. Look no further if you’ll be staying in Fes.

From the minute we checked in, Andalla Riad and Spa welcomed us with open arms. This Riad is absolutely beautiful, well taken care of and immaculate. The rooms are done so tastefully in a Moroccan motif and the air conditioner kept our room very comfortable, even when the temps were in the high 90’s outside. Their staff couldn’t have done more, even if we asked. They were so helpful and kind, and always had time to help with anything we needed. They gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and shop. Breakfast on the rooftop patio was a treat every morning, and their dinners served in the evening on the rooftop are not to be missed. A special thank you to Christophe, Andre, Youniss, Abdul, Ahmet, Aziz, Abdullah and the rest of the staff. You made our stay in Marrakech so memorable and an unforgettable experience!

This beautiful well located RIad was superb . The staff are courteous, offer superb service and are very friendly . The place is beautifully furnished and it has a roof top restaurant where we enjoyed an evening meal looking over the Old Médina . Can’t wait to go back !

The hosts and the staff were fantastic. The riad set us up with a great tour guide and made sure we had everything we needed. They had porters walk us to and from the hotel and coordinated cabs and pickups with our restaurants for dinner. Alex also gave us a mobile phone in case we got lost or needed help, him and his wife were amazing.

If you are trapped in Fez might as well be here
(Disclaimer - anyone using Maps app be warned Riad shows up in two locations which are right next to each other so you run the risk of making infinite circles looking for it. Best to call Yasmine and wait for someone to come get you) The Riad really is lovely. Yasmine is very polite & helpful; the cookies on arrival are what pastry dreams are made of and I would not even know where to begin to rave about the service. We had quite an unpleasant stay in Fez (sadly ... through NO fault of this Riad) but Yasmine was very thoughtful to follow up via email to make sure we got to the next destination along our route safely and were back to loving Morocco and having the time of our lives. Our luggage was not just brought to our room - it was organized and carefully put away - the bag of cherries we picked up on the drive along the highway were waiting for us washed in a beautiful bowl on a table by the time we made it to the room - hats and scarves hanging in the closet ... every time we left the room we came back to it perfectly arranged back to an almost OCD level of neatness - something of which I could sing praises for days. The rooftop is stunning. The restaurant was most charming. Though not without it's faults - I could not get past the odd smell in the bathroom which I quickly figured out was mold growing in the shower. Being sensitive to smells it was quite bothersome for me personally. My advice - stay away from the blue room but definitely stay @ Riad Le Calife.

What wonderful ambience at this super delightful Riad. Our hosts (Alexandre and Yasmine) made us feel like family. They anticipated our needs, inquired often about personal desires and looked out for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable well designed.
