"Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious enough for 1-2 travellers. Downstairs their is a kitchen and eating area (multiple booths) so you can prepare and cook your own food. "The Ailim house was truly one of the best places I have ever stayed. The cottage itself is beautiful, has all the conveniences needed, is comfortable, and perfectly accessible to St Andrews. The hosts are lovely people who went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. "
