"Beautiful location & hotel was nice. The staff was friendly & useful. The only negatives we found were 1. The floors were very noisy/squeaky 2. We stayed there on a Summer day/evening, there was no fans or air conditioning so the room was very warm"

"What fantastic hosts, who were welcoming and friendly and just fantastic to our group who arrived sopping wet from a day’s cycling and provided a last minute feast when we were let down by our evening dinner booking.
The rooms and facilities were perfect."

"Loved the style of the hotel. Stunning decor and very comfortable beds. Staff were also delightful and well informed. The pool was a really decent size - though in contrast to the rest of the hotel the pool area is very grey and uninteresting. Also no jacuzzi.
Food and drink very good and the dining room is beautiful.
We had a spa suite which was very spacious and comfortable BUT be warned - it is a very long walk from these to the main hotel. I counted walking through 8 fire doors before...
