"Really nice place for a stopover. This is our second time here and we are glad we came back. Conveniently located near everything you might need and in a safe location. The staff was just lovely and even gave us a complimentary upgrade on our room (it was huge!). Nice solid breakfast and a friendly goodbye when we left. Hotel is very clean and plenty of towels and pillows were available in the room. My only criticism and it is actually pretty funny one is that the nice suite we were given...

"The room was great. It was not ready at 3 but we got complimentary drinks in the lounge during our short wait. The room was beautiful and modern. Blinds convenient and easy to bring down to cover the view of the office buildings across which are very close. Location was perfect for downtown shopping, shows and other obligations. The pool was fine and hot tub and lounge area with table fires great. Food in the restaurant could be improved. We ate both a dinner and breakfast at the hotel....

"For the price, we would expect more. Lounge could use a redesign/update. Washroom was small.
Poor lighting.
Cleaning services didn’t do a great job. And also didn’t refresh waters. We also waited 1.25 hrs for rooms service they said will be 40 minutes.
The staff walkie-talkies are loud in the hallways in the morning making it easy to wake guests.
Dated pool.
For the price, it doesn’t compare to the new Marriott’s, the other fairmonts, even the Sutton. We always like the fairmont but for...
