If you want to feel like royalty, this is the place for you! Everything is fabulous and amazing: the staff, the service, the hotel itself (which was a villa belonging to a Duchess!) the grounds, the gardens, the amenities, the serenity. This hotel is so beautiful, you can’t possibly be disappointed. I cannot praise this hotel and the staff enough! Breakfast is a luxurious treat, eating on the patio while you overlook a lovey garden with a sparkling fountain flowing quietly in the background I felt like a queen and was treated that way by every single staff member! The ONLY drawback is that it is located well outside of the city, but there is a free shuttle that will get you closer to the city but taxis will be required (about 20 euros per trip from the hotel to downtown) if you don’t have a car. This is a small trade off for the beautiful grounds, the outstanding service and the serenity of being away from the hustle and bustle and the pure luxury of this beautiful setting. There’s even a 20 Euro credit for lunch/bar onsite (lunch is very good, too!). I give this hotel and its amazing staff my highest recommendation!
