I had a very disappointing experience & would not recommend it. Upon arrival, we were informed the elevator was out of service, something that should have been communicated ahead of time.We were originally assigned a room on the 6 floor, and while the front desk clerk did move us to the 3 floor after we requested it, this was still extremely difficult for our group, especially since my 85 year old aunt was traveling with us.
I had reserved an ocean view room through Expedia, but Diana claimed the hotel never received that information from Expedia and refused to offer any refund or accommodation. I then asked to speak to the manager & a person by the name Gail also said the same thing and did not offer a solution. This was frustrating & felt dismissive.The condition of the property was also concerning. The pool slide looked unsafe, as if it could fall apart at any moment. Housekeeping was another major issue, I confirmed with Gail what their housekeeping policy was and she said full service every third day however, we could request garbage and fresh towels, which I did not only once but had to request garbage pickup &towel replacement 4 times in a single day before it was addressed by Sunny who came from the front desk and brought me fresh towels and took the garbage.These issues are unacceptable.To make matters worse, the front office staff was rude & unhelpful throughout our stay, & no effort was made to resolve these issues or offer any form of compensation.Unacceptable.
