"Excellent location, great rooftop bar, and good restaurant on site. Old and stained carpets, in need up updating and re painting all over the hotel. It's a pack em and stack em hotel and the entire place needs an upgrade."

"Once inside the hotel it was a cool oasis compared with the madness in New York City with the Nicks playing NBA Finals on two nights whilst we were there. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was good. Surrounding streets were littered with trash often and some of the street residents with issues were located nearby but were not causing obvious problems. "I was disappointed when I got a glass of chardonnay from the bar and noticed he used a minuscule carafe to measure how much wine to put in the glass. I thought it was a joke. Then I got the bill . I mentioned that was a very small amount of wine for the price and his response was 'I only work here'. So suggestion for other travelers, order your glass of wine off property unless you are on an expense account that covers alcohol."

"The location is great. I had to move 4 times to find a room that the ac worked or that it had a working tv or that a person across the shaft was not waving at me. the hotel said they were fixing the tv but that never happened. They gave me a credit on expedia for this poor stay"

"Very cool to be near so many things we wanted to do. Very small room but we expected that being downtown NYC. Could have used a refrigerator and some drawers or a cabinet in the bathroom. Otherwise we are happy to have stayed there. Will stay again planning ahead knowing the short-comings."
