"Room needed to be updated, had old furniture. Bathroom had plumbing issues, water would not drain properly in the bath/ shower or sink. Staff would not give paperwork back for essentials. They charged $100.00 for essentials. Breakfast was powder eggs that were soggy, biscuits where hard."
"Had lots of issues, including having our air conditioner break and getting relocated to a another room. The next room had a tiny TV with no way to stream shows. Staff could not help us find a room with a smart TV. They offered us 15% off our room which we did not receive. Checked out after a only a few hours and went home. Terrible experience."
Comfort Inn & Suites Junction City - near Fort Riley
2/10 Terrible
"I checked into room 115 at 11:15 p after a long day of driving. Entering the room, I noticed a musty smell and a kennel smell. I assume that this room is a pet-friendly room due to the smell and its location on the first floor. I have stayed at this hotel with my dog in the past. I figured that I coud deal with the smell for one night, and because it was so late, I did not make a "stink" about it. I took a shower and prepared for bed. When I came out of the shower I was dive bombed by a large fly. I managed to take it out with a hand towel. As I was dressing something landed on my foot. I jumped. I looked around for the culprit and saw a large black cricket. It hopped away and went into the closet where I could not find it. I put a towel at the base of the door and hoped that it would sleep in there. ("Jumping" ahead, there was a dead cricket on the floor in the bathroom the next morning-same one?)
As I finished preparing for bed, another fly divebombed me. I never found that one.
The room has 2 double beds and I chose the one closest to the front of the room. When I pulled the covers down I saw a large yellow moldy stain on the fitted sheet. I moved to the other bed. I travel with a weighted blanket, I slept on top of the flat sheet and used my travel pillow.
My phone did not charge while plugged into the lamp, so I moved the chair away from an outlet on the wall. The floor under the chair was soaking wet. Musty smell culprit.
No discount bc I booked thru Expedia."
