"The entire hotel smelled like cigarette smoke, and felt off from the very beginning. Online the place looked very promising and though the lobby looked out dated I had held out hopes for the rest of the amenities. It has everything you could want in a city that already has everything—great food, cool bars, amazing music, plenty to do, etc. It's all brand new in a renovated space. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bathrooms are sparkling, and the service is impeccable. There's a rooftop courtyard, a game room, and good eats and drinks right next door. It's more comfortable than anywhere else in the Bay Area, and just as accessible. Well...

"Located in unsafe neighborhood. Had to checkout 1 day earlier due to unsafe conditions and hotel would not refund the day/night i didnt use. My husband was locked out of hotel because hotel staff locks the front door during certain times due to unsafe conditions. Had no idea. I had my kids with me. Never again"

"The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious. Big bathroom, the sink is oddly small, though, it could use an update. The shampoo and conditioner, smelt great. The last but not least is the employees, they are super friendly and helpful. When I my car didn't start, on my check out day. The front desk man let me use his personal jump start kit to get my car going again. I am so grateful for people like this, helping out when they can, even when it's not included in their job description. Bless...
