"The pool and spa were nice, but unfortunately our overall experience was disappointing. Within 10 minutes, we had to kill four huge spiders in the room, which was very unsettling. The bathtub drain plug was broken, so I wasn’t able to give my 2-year-old a bath. On top of that, when I turned on the bathroom sink, the faucet handle piece that screws on fell of and was so stripped it wouldn’t stay on. I also asked for a late checkout and was told I could stay until 12 PM, but I was never informed there would be an additional fee. After checking out, I was charged $100 for the late checkout. Had I been told about the charge beforehand, I would have left at the original checkout time. The people upstairs from us were also stomping their feet until 4am. Overall, the property has potential, but the maintenance issues and lack of communication regarding fees made for a frustrating stay."
