"The hotel was very charming and the rooms were huge. The canopy bed was a treat. There was excellent AC which was amazing in the summer. The location was amazing, allowing you to walk to the Vatican, pantheon, trevi fountain and colosseum. The only complaints is that the bed frame/board and floor by bed were very dusty, and the shower intermittently did not have hot water. "Although the building outside seems to be very old, but B&B A Casa Di Barbara is updated, very safe, and very clean. Air conditioning is new and quiet. The wifi is fast and dependable. The B&B is home away from home. I will definitely recommend it and will surely stay here again if ever I will visit Rome again. I stayed here Aug 1, 2025 before our cruise and stayed here again after the cruise Aug 12-14, 2025."
