Basic comfort and cleanliness.

Very basic, clean room. Polite staff. Coffee maker in room, AC, DirectTV, and free parking. I expected this as a minimum in a motel which was 7/8 empty. No refrigerator or microwave.

You get what you pay for. Safe for one night stay which is what we had. Saw some bugs and the bathroom did not inspire confidence, but if all you need is a bed for a night it isn't terrible.

My mother and I stayed at the Econo Lodge for two nights. The room was pretty clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. But the shower had no slip proof guard - mat or anything - on the floor, so my 80 yr. old mother was afraid to shower. I did, and the shower floor did become extremely slippery. Might want to check on that. IMO a lawsuit waiting to happen. Props to the desk personnel, though, who were very helpful and friendly.

Bed Bugs and Dirty sheets

Bed Bugs! and dirty sheets… When checking sheets and bedding we discovered bed bugs in one room and obviously soiled sheets in the other room. This property appears to be used primarily for transitional housing as well. We actually didn’t spend the night there and had to scramble to find another place to stay due to eclipse crowds! The front desk staff were actually very nice, but could not offer a refund.
