"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"There was a noticeable odor throughout the facility. Staffing appeared to be minimal, and staff members were not usually present at the front desk, although they could occasionally be found elsewhere in the building. The property does not have an elevator, so if you require assistance with luggage or have mobility concerns, I would recommend requesting a room on the ground floor. The staircase was quite dirty and did not appear to be cleaned or vacuumed regularly. The pool area was also...

"When we first drove up to the place I thought oh no 😭😭! We got in the room it was outdated but the room area was clean and smelled fresh! I always check the bathroom- it was clean. But this what I was wonderful the bed linens was very clean and smelled so fresh and the bed was comfortable. Mama said "you can't judge a book by its cover". It was perfectly quiet atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay at this Red Roof In @ Edinburgh IN It still needs a lot of renovation👍"

"Clean enough for a cheap overnight. Problem was none of the drains were draining properly. Bathtub filled up while showering, and sink filled up anytime it was used."

"My room had the Jacuzzi tub.. I specifically came here for that.... The only thing I'll complain about is the doors to the room..or maybe only my room didn't have a controlled close...many times I left the room expecting it to close silently on its own .and it was a loud slam....and I had forgotten several times.. "There was nothing to like but the price! They have bed bugs in rooms 108 and 111 for sure! They snarl about clean towels and toilet paper. Horrible place and does not belong in Nashville. I was shocked that Expedia even would rent from such a place!! I would recommend Hotel Nashville!"

"Room was clean and quiet. Good rest. Breakfast was a little lacking so I hit the Waffle House. Staff was very helpful when I couldn’t get into the first room assigned because of a dead battery in the door. I would stay again simply for the peace and quiet."

"My suite was very spacious and well designed, but I especially loved the surroundings. The grounds are beautiful and make an excellent place for a short walk. It also feels sheltered from the rest of the world--town is close, but it seems like you are far away in a pleasant little town."
