"Someone booked a stay at this hotel through hotels.com but put in my email address for their email address. Since hotels.com and its partners do not care about data privacy, they don't bother to confirm email addresses for transactional emails. I marked all average for the review since that seems fair having never been to this hotel or this part of Florida. I will say that in general I don't stay with choice hotels anymore because most of the properties are too dated and not in good locations. I mostly stay at Marriott and the occasional Hilton. Perhaps hotels.com should require users to verify their email before sending them transactional e-mails that allow anyone to presumably cancel or modify a booking. Also, for most chain hotels, it is usually cheaper to book direct instead of through a third party."

"Stay was not great, there was a lot of questionable people around the hotel police was called multiple times and property and someone was banging on someone’s door next to me which woke me up and also 2 roaches were found in the room and there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom"

"Such a cute spot. Only downside was all the area rest and stores within walking distance closed way too early. Basically right after dinner time. Other than that, we loved our stay. Staff was great! "
