Drifting off to sleep in a dark room with the snow falling through the positioned sliding windows as to not see any of the surrounding modern day buildings, was a marvellous experience that I shall treasure forever. "Very lovely older small onsen. Japanese style room was lovely. Futon was a bit old, thin, and firm, far from my first but noticable. Make sure to book dinner, its a walk to other options. Onsen was lovely."

"Be careful to choose smoking room or non-smoking room. Non smoking floors are filled with smell, if you don’t choose non-smoking room they will automatically put you into smoking room. For its price it is good enough. "

"Great ryokan with lovely onsen. Water was very hot but relaxing. Half board banquet style meals were a lot of fun along with wearying the traditional Japanese clothing. Lots of selection and different kinds which was nice. Room was huge and the outdoor tub was lovely. Recommended for sure. "
