"Perfect location - we stayed for 10 days in one of the rooms with balcony - excellent location within Stonetown where the only drawback is that it’s not possible to drive a car to the entrance of the hotel - very nice rooms and super friendly staff - excellent breakfast with a super nice view of the sea from the breakfast place. Very nice experience and happy to recommend the hotel. "

"A nice boutique hotel located in a very downtown of Stone Town. It is kept in a vintige wooden style, but rooms are fully equipped with AC and safe. The breakfast is served on a top floor terrace with a nice view over surrounding rooftops (photos attached). We spent there two nights, with a warm welcome at reception and we were nicely treated with a typical local appreciation and helpfulness. "We stayed in an upscale room and was fabulous. This hotel is part museum and the antiques and style make it interesting, staff was very friendly and the food was very good. Courtyard pool was very nice. No elevator but would recommend the upper floor rooftop. "

"Marafiki Bungalows was a delight. But what made it a perfect location to rest & relax were all the employees. Lots of flora & fauna & quite. Management were women and everything done perfectly & no detail forgot. We had a Gluten Free person traveling with us & the chefs were super accommodating. Food was all delicious . "This property is right by the ferry making it the most convenient choice one could make. The rooftop terrace offers great sunset views and the restaurant on the terrace serves tasty Indian cuisine that is top notch. The lobby has a fountain that id want in my own home. I love the paintings on each floor the pool area is filled with greenery and has lots of space. Id highly reccomend this property to anyone visting Zanzibar"

"All the staff were lovely. Really friendly and helpful. The breakfast on our balcony was brilliant. The best bit though was for my husbands birthday. The bed decoration was the best I’ve ever seen and then the reception staff asked him to come back for a gift which was a coconut with sparklers. They all sang to him - so sweet v"
