"This hotel is currently being upgraded, but it wasn’t clear whether our floor was complete. The shower was leaking and didn’t drain. The AC was either blasting cold or hot. Nothing in the middle and made for an uncomfortable sleep. We paid for 3 adults and the pull out wasn’t made up and after searching for pillows and blankets only found 5 flat sheets in a bin. Thankfully we had extra pillows and a duvet as we were on a road trip. $300 for a Sunday night in SSM for this place is steep given...

"This place really has very little i can recommend other than location. Supposedly this was an award winning motel 20 years ago! How they have fallen. The rooms smell of strong mold and must. The beds have a single actual sheet, which isn't even fitted. Nothing in the room seems to be stable as everything has a slant to it. Other than the cheap art. "This was my third stay at this motel. When I was checking in, the two other guests in the office also had stayed there previously. That says a lot. The staff was great--helpful and friendly. The grounds were beautiful, a big grassy area surrounded by wildflowers. My dog loved it. The room was clean and well maintained. I'd definitely stay there again."
