"Amazing property (the actual Chateau). I can’t comment on the bedrooms in this building as we were given a room in The Lodge. The Lodge is a building nothing like the Chateau, so was certainly missold to us with no photos on their website - was probably built in the 1960s - and needs thousands of pounds to be spent on it to make it presentable. "Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. All towels, glasses, cutlery in the room as well as bedding was very clean. The hotel itself has a unique style, very well thought through with stylish design and decorations. "This is a gorgeous stay. Conwy is like a fairy tale and this stay added to the charm. Check in was easy, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. No AC, so bring portable fans if you need it. Just darling, I will be dreaming of when I will be returning. Easy walk from train station, castle, and dining."

"We chose this property for its location to the ferry terminal however due to the noisy plumbing and size of the room we felt it was over priced and uncomfortable. Definitely too small for a double room more like a box room. In fact a 4 hour drive in the early hours would have been preferable."
