"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Quinta São José do Barrilário in the Douro Valley! The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with breathtaking views of the valley. The peaceful atmosphere, lovely accommodations, and stunning scenery made our stay feel truly special. It was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of Portugal’s wine country. A memorable experience and a place we would love to return to!"

"Notre séjour s’est bien déroulé. La chambre était propre et l’hôtel est très bien située. Le personnel d’accueil était vraiment gentil et courtois . Nous étions entre 2 saisons et l’air climatisé avait fait place au chauffage et l’air climatisé aurait été la bien venue. Dans le l’ensemble un excellent endroit"

"A classic boutique hotel in a great location. Easy walk from the train station. Rooms are spacious with a great view of the Douro River. A great bar with good food. The breakfast is good with decent options."

"Beautiful property, we explored the vineyard and had a tour of the winery. We loved the restaurant and the views."

"Breakfast was good. My only complaint is not with the hotel but with Expedia. I booked a room with breakfast but did not check the receipt, only to arrive and be told that breakfast was not included. A google check exposed that this is due to a glitch that expedia is aware of."

"Our stay at Quinta de la Rosa was absolutely wonderful! The beautiful views everywhere you turn, the delicious locally inspired continental breakfast, and Patricia’s fantastic tasting tour made the experience truly special. Dinner each night was a culinary joy with the knowledgeable wait-staff. Everything was charming, welcoming, and memorable - a perfect blend of tradition and modern. A genuine gem in the Douro Valley that we would happily recommend and return to!"

"Antonio, Marlena and the whole staff was incredible. We were treated like family. An absolutely beautiful, cozy, romantic place -- very well maintained and super clean. Delicious on-premise fruits, vegetables and wine. And the meals prepared there were ASHMAZING. Could not recommend any more highly."

"We had a great stay with our 10 month old daughter. They were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The views from the property are incredibly beautiful"

"Lovely hotel but we were too busy touring to enjoy the hotel's amenities. Would like to have stayed longer. Close to downtown and easily walkable."
