The location is also very nice, one subway stop from Kyoto station, and quite easy/accessible to major bus stations and attraction. I walked 25 mins from the hostel to Kiyomizu-dera temple and the famous alleyways nearby - very walkable distances to major sites (if you like to walk!). "This is an absolutely great hostel - brand new, very clean, spacious ground floor (this is the common area) but maybe not enough seating when the hostel is fully booked (add a couch?). One can feel that everything is brand new, my room (8 people dorm) had a top light and bottom lights (next to the beds) for the night, which I thought was great. The bed is very comfortable and you can choose between three or four types of pillows (sic!)! My bed had a total of 3 power outlets + 1 USB port + my own...

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The beds were actually quite large and very comfortable. And the aesthetic of the overall property was so incredibly cool! It is also very conveniently near a lot of major things to see without being too close where a bunch of tourists are around! Right next to a bus station that can take you about anywhere too! "一階奥の庭付きの部屋をご用意していただけました。四畳半の部屋は私にちょうどよく、クーラーもついており、トイレとシャワーも近くて快適でした。布団はセルフで敷くのですが、いつもベッドなので畳の上の布団に新鮮さを楽しめました。チェックイン後の出入りは自由で、夜間はロックを暗証番号入力で出入り出来ます。冷蔵庫はロビーの共用を利用しました。猫のタマくんもタイミングが合えばお出迎えしてくれます。シティホテルもよいですが、京都街中の畳の部屋もまた格別でした。また来ようと思います。"
