"The hotel was in a great location, right downtown close to restaurants and the river side parks. It was easy to walk to most places we wanted to go to. One issue was that there is no parking at the hotel, so we had to park in the Municipal garage about a block away. Parking was free on the weekend. "The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the...

"Its a very quiet area which I love."

"The room was clean. I especially liked that I wasn’t carpeted. I didn’t use the balcony but it was a nice to have for sure. Staff were friendly. The Pool area was clean and it was great having an indoor and outdoor option plus it was heated. The sauna was good too!"
