"I had not been informed that the building was under construction. There was a jackhammer going non stop. The shower did not get hot and it whistled. The light in the bathroom was super dim and with the shower curtain closed it was dark. The floor was as dirty. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see it so rundown."

"Staff was friendly and the food was excellent in the restaurants. Bar was woefully under-staffed in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and ocean view decks were sheltered from the wind and of a nice size."

"Pre-paid, but when I arrived I was told that the hotel was overbooked. The front desk sent me next door to their “sister property,” the 2-star Fairfield Inn. Might as well have been a Motel. Disgusting and dirty. And no price adjustment! The shower was dirty, the bed sheets had a drawing on them in black marker, and the room was generally dirty with what appeared to be blood on the wall. "The staff at the front desk were great. The room was just OK. The carpets were stained and dirty and had a smell. Pretty gross actually. If you stay in Room 325 definitely wear slippers or socks. "

"I really like this cute little place, but a couple of things could’ve been better, especially for the price. The small single cup coffee maker did not work and the walk-in shower was not clean. Luckily I bring cleaning wipes everywhere I go. I wasn’t a fan of the design of the shower as it had half a glass shower door, but nothing else. Other than that, the staff was really nice and answered all of our questions. Breakfast was delicious also."

"Very rough part of town… adjacent buildings with boarded windows and people loitering at all hours. Right next to a loud bar. Six foot fence around property, I think that’s enough said. Only positive the doors are internal and not external."
