"This property needs an entire makeover. Carpets were torn and filthy in the elevators. Hallway floor carpets were not cleaned. Room refrigerator was barely working. Wood surfaces were peeling. It rained while we were there and the lobby had three buckets to catch leaks. Cannot believe this is branded as a Hilton. "

"The Hampton Inn in Penfield provides exceptional service at the front desk, as well as a quiet, comfortable and spacious room. I had to ask the front desk to accept an Amazon delivery for my elderly sister who lives nearby, which they cheerfully did. At the last minute, I had to extend my stay for several days when she was hospitalized. Not only were they able to keep me in the same room, they went out of their way to find a Diet Coke when she was discharged and none were in the cooler. Finally, they were gracious and understanding when I explained that we had accidentally spilled a drink on the sheets and mattress on my last night. The kindness, support and friendliness made a very difficult week significantly easier. That's worth a ton of loyalty!"

"From the moment we arrived, the level of customer service was disappointing. During check-in, the front desk associate remained focused on her phone and did not provide the attentive or professional service one would expect from the Hyatt brand.
As I was traveling with my family of four, we were only provided with two towels in the room. We requested additional towels on three separate occasions, including an in-person visit to the front desk, yet they were never delivered. This lack of follow-through was both inconvenient and unacceptable.
While the food at the Astor Restaurant was acceptable, the overall service experience there was also lacking. The host and waitstaff displayed an attitude that did not reflect a welcoming or service-oriented environment.
I travel frequently and have historically preferred Hyatt properties. However, this experience was far below expectations and has caused me to reconsider that preference."

"This place is absolutely disgusting. Dirty and rundown. Leaking pipes from the ceilings causing lights to flicker. A lot of dogs that urinate on the walls. This place used to be great until it was taken over now. It might be the worst hotel I have ever been in. It is not family friendly. It is not clean. I will say the front staff was great about refunding my money so I could go elsewhere."

"it's a budget hotel, so don't expect anything more, but the bed was excellent. Everything was super clean. The service was great and I'm gonna use this hotel every time I visit Rochester."

"Shower was slow to drain, toilet did not flush the first time. We stayed two nights and expected the bed to be made and have fresh towels but were told that when they are too busy they do not do that! What am I paying for them? Breakfast and coffee were horrible. "
