"Proximity to the Tower and modest price were my selection criteria. The apartment was spacious enough for me and my teen son for a night. If we were staying longer, the kitchen would have been a benefit certainly. The fly smashed on the wall above the bed was a bummer. Housekeeping missed that. Like many older buildings, there are improvements that can be made to the fixtures and whatnot, but I saw this as a work in progress. "We were made to feel so welcome by the lovely family that runs this B&B. The room we stayed in is large, comfortable and separate from the main residence. The breakfast was brilliant and an event in itself! There is plenty of parking if needed and a large garden to sit out in. Set in a quiet residential area it is a 10 minute walk to the edge of the historic centre. Highly recommended."

Only problem was when when we tried to get in the property, we managed to get through the first two doors but couldn’t get in to our room, managed to get in after half an hour but was so frustrating as we were so tired.rang the number we had been given but the girl on the other end was obviously in a pub so cut me off which I thought was rude.
